As one of the most popular baccarat card game brands across the world, EZ Baccarat remains a favorite for the players at Sacramento Casino. EZ Baccarat is played just as the traditional version of the game is played, with the exception of you do not pay commission when you win against the bank. Instead of taking the five percent commission after every winning Bank hand, the Bank hand is “pushed” or “barred”; in other words, one specific winning Bank hand (what is referred to as the Dragon) made up of a three card total of seven. Players are allowed to make an insurance bet, or the “Dragon7 bet”, which pays 40 to 1 should the three card winning Bank hand. In addition to wagering on the Banker hand and the Dragon7, EZ Baccarat at Sacramento Casino also offers players the option of wagering on what is called the Panda8 bet, this is the three card winning Player hand totaling eight, and paying 25 to 1. With the aces being valued as one and the face and 10 cards as zero, the object of the game is to get the highest hand, with the highest total for a hand being a natural, or two-card 9.

After each player around the table places their bets, the dealer and the player are dealt two cards, starting with the player. House rules at Capitol Sacramento Casino will determine the order of players permitted to remove cards from the shoe and if the cards are dealt face up or down. If either the Players hand or the Bankers hand get a natural 8 or 9 (player’s hand is resolved first), then no further cards are drawn. If neither of the player’s hand or the banker’s hand total 8 or 9, with the player’s hand also having a point value of 5 or less, then the player’s hand is dealt another card. If however the Players hand does equal 6 or 7, then that hand stands.

Unlike the Player hand though, the Banker hand is resolved according to a scoring table that the dealer at Capitol Sacramento Casino will have. If the Banker hand is a Dragon, or a three card total of seven, then the Banker hand is a push, with the Player and Tie hands both loosing to the Dragon7; however, if the Banker and Player hands have the same point total, the hand is a push and the tie bet takes the win. Now remember that when playing EZ Baccarat, no commissions are paid on winning Banker hands. After the hands have been totaled, the Capitol Sacramento Casino dealer enters the results on the results tracker, which is then displayed on a screen to the players. Sophisticated players often choose to track scores in order to observe the trends of EZ Baccarat, adding another exciting layer to this already popular card game! Whatever your strategy or experience level may be all players are encouraged to come and join the fun at Capitol Sacramento Casino’s EZ Baccarat tables!
